Tanner Inherits Millions -- Still Refuses To Pay Obligations

Roscoe Tanner's father, Leonard Roscoe Tanner, who was a successful attorney in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, passed away and his approximately $9,000,000.00 estate was distributed as directed in his Last Will and Testament which is on file with the Hamilton County Probate Court, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Approximately $2.5 million of this estate was left to Roscoe via a Trust Fund set up for him by his dad in order to shield the assets from seizure by his creditors, including mothers of his daughters, who reside in at least two different states.

Tanner still has court cases pending against him in at least two states, and has been claiming he cannot afford an attorney, and for some reason he thinks folks believe him. Remember, this is the SAME Roscoe Tanner who bought $72,000.oo worth of LUXURY SPORTS UTILITY VEHICLES in Knoxville, Tennessee and was arrested and charged there with a felony for writing a bad check for those SUVs. The charges were "dismissed" when he returned the vehicles and came up with $5,000 to make "restitution" to the dealership for the time period he had use of the vehicles.

He also had money to move to Florida (where the state laws are more protective of substantial assets) and rumor has it he is living in a new house, and working at a tennis club selling memberships and lessons. But despite a reliable income and trust fund, he is still recalcitrant and has not been making court ordered payments to the mothers of his daughters as directed.

At some point, it might be necessary for Mr. Tanner to be returned to a cell in order to get his full and complete attention. He was jailed when he didn't have any money for his repeated felonies, and used as an excuse why he should be let out of jail that he could not earn any money while incarcerated, and if the judge would only let him out, he would pay the judgments.

He has been out of prison and jail for several years now and still has money to take trips and eat in fancy restaurants and buy new houses and vehicles, but has NO money to pay his court ordered judgments, despite being left $2.5 MILLION DOLLARS.

It is time for all citizens of care and concern for his children and their welfare to write to the courts where his cases are being heard, and to DEMAND that Mr. Tanner be JAILED until such time as full and complete payment is made of any and all court judgments owed by him to the Clerk of Court as he was ordered to pay.

These cases have been open for as long as TEN YEARS and despite Mr. Tanner's being worth MILLIONS he refuses to pay the court ordered judgments and has been bragging that he is going to spend down his inheritance so that he cannot be required to pay. One of the judgments was originally value at nearly a half million dollars and Tanner pleaded poverty and had it reduced to around $60,000 and still refused to pay.

Other judgments have been ignored or settled for small amounts by his abuse of the system to suit his own nefarious purposes. It is time that Mr. Tanner meet two judges who can see through his poverty pleas and jail him UNTIL he pays since he now has the MEANS to pay and there is NO further excuse.
